The
21st Annual Grillin’ for Food Gatherers was a success!
Grillin'
2011 is Sunday, June 12th!
(Always
the second Sunday in June!)
Washtenaw
Farm Council Grounds
5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Road
We are happy to report we had a record setting Grillin'
2010 with more
than 2,000 guests, volunteers and partners through the gate!
The weather held out and we couldn't be more pleased with
the results.

Gourmet sausages, grilled chicken, scrumptious salads,
delectable desserts and cash bar. More than 150 volunteers
and dozens of area restaurants serve up a grilled feast
for the whole family. Just a few of the fine businesses
contributing to the feast include: Casey's Tavern, The Earle,
Exotic Cuisine and Bakeries, Grange Kitchen & Bar, Knight's
Steakhouse, The Quarter Bisrto and Tavern
and Zingerman’s Roadhouse, Deli,
Bakery and Creamery.
Music by Abigail Stauffer, Bull Halsey, Jamie Register
and the Glendales and George Bedard and the Kingpins will
keep toes tappin.’ Kids activities by the Ann Arbor
Hands-On Museum and a food inspired silent auction will
round out a plate full of fun for all.
Proceeds enable Food Gatherers to rescue and distribute
more than 5 million pounds of food annually to 150 non-profit
programs providing emergency food resources to those in
need throughout Washtenaw County.
Since nearly
all the food, labor and artwork is donated, your Grillin’
ticket really does fight hunger where we live!
