As part of the Volunteer Department, the Volunteer Coordinator greets, trains, and supervises volunteers at Food Gatherers’ warehouse, Community Kitchen, and off-site events. Volunteer Coordinators work closely with all departments to assess organizational needs, and mobilize volunteers to meet those needs.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, but occasional weekends and special events may be required. As a full-time employee, the Volunteer Coordinator is eligible for benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with generous company match, paid time off (PTO), access to an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP), and more! The salary range for this positions begins at $40,000/year.
