As a member of the Operations department, the Food Runner/Driver will drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver food to locations throughout Washtenaw County. Food Runner/Drivers participate in significant customer service interactions, perform warehouse tasks, and deliver food to Food Gatherers’ network of partner programs. No previous driving experience is required to apply! We will train you on the job!
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, but occasional weekends and special events may be required. As a full-time employee, the Food Runner/Driver is eligible for benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with generous company match, paid time off (PTO), access to an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP), and more! The wage for this position is $18.50/hour.
